This message holds our 2024 church building cleaning assignments that we have as a ward. We have three months assigned to this year. They are Saturday mornings at 8AM at the church. It usually lasts about an hour. We ask the group leaders to contact those in their groups and work with Brother Brenning to help remind the rest of your group of the assignment. If you can’t do the cleaning on a given Saturday, please coordinate swapping with someone on a different Saturday or try cleaning part the Friday before. Each family has an assignment every 10th time we clean instead of every 4th or 5th (depending on the month), so we do need your help on those Saturdays. We started this in December of last year. Thank you for your help!
Warmly,
Brother Vanhille

We hope that your youth have been daily studying the Book of Mormon with the challenge we issued to them in December to read the Book of Mormon individually during the year of 2024 (and our seniors to complete the book before graduation). I know that daily study of the Book of Mormon will give them added spiritual strength, richer testimonies, and more protection from temptation.
We will occasionally be holding meetings on Sunday afternoons that will focus on how the youth can make Jesus Christ more real in their lives through lessons learned in the Book of Mormon. These meetings will be an opportunity for myself and others to teach and testify to the youth and further reinforce the challenge of personal daily worship in the Book of Mormon.
Our next Book of Mormon meeting will be held in two weeks, March 17th at 4pm, at the Vanhille home. Refreshments will be served afterwards. Please plan on the duration being one hour.
Please know that your youth are truly loved and prayed for.
Most warmly,
Vanessa

Questions motivated the Prophet Joseph Smith to seek divine inspiration, making the First Vision a reality. Similarly, it is not unusual to have gospel questions in our day. Under the direction of the Stake Presidency, the Stake Sunday School is offering a special class on “Answering My Gospel Questions”. This class is intended to help the earnest seeker to find answers to their gospel questions through faith in Jesus Christ, trustworthy sources, and personal revelation. We encourage anyone with gospel questions to attend this class, as well as anyone who wants to be better prepared to help friends and loved ones find answers to their sincere questions. This class is uplifting for all! Classes are being held every Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at the Montaño Stake Center through April 14. For questions, please reach out to: abqnstakesundayschool@gmail.com. (no class will be held on Easter or Conference weekend)
